MDY-PDF announced that they seized 35 military bases of State Administration Council (SAC)’s army in Madayar township, Mandalay region.
Ko Osmond, the spokesperson of MDY-PDF said that they seized 35 military bases of State Administration Council (SAC)’s army in Madayar township during 25 June – 31 July (today) and still operating offensives on other remaining bases, and they captured over 300 war prisoners and a lot of weapons during the second phase operations of Operation 1027.
“We got around 300 prisoners of war captured. Weapons are also captured a lot. We don’t have any plans to announce in detail,” he told MPA.
At the moment, MDY-PDF announced again that they just captured Ngalonepyun village military camp, Taungkan village military camp, Aung Thabyay village military camp, Aung Thabyay highway gate military camp, Myokone village military camp, Thanpinkone village military camp and Bokone village military camp more.
He said there were casualties of their soldiers, PDFs, but there is no such plan to announce in detail.
It is said that battles are intensifying in Kyauk Ta Dar and Mya Kan Thar villages today.
MDY-PDF is still operating offensives on predetermined military targets .
