The Japanese embassy located in Yangon told that the Japanese ambassador of the embassy of myanmar met in person with the executive officer of Aeon Orange whom was captured by SAC for the accusation of trading the rice in putting up prices on 4 July.
H.E. Ichiro Marutama said that he found the executive officer of Aeon Orange, Hiroshi Kasamatsu (53 years old) in good health.
The embassy said that in-person meeting with Kasamatsu happened according to the request of Japan government, and they will keep on requesting to release him as soon as possible to the SAC.
It is not stated that in which police station was Kasamatsu detained while he was being interrogated. A local lawyer sent the necessary commodities to Kasamatsu and the embassy said that they knew about the information of Kasamatsu from that lawyer.
The SAC released a statement, under the section 5 of the 2012 Important Goods and Services Law, they will take action on the director of One Stop mart, the chief executive officer of City Mart holding company, the managing director of Sein Gay Har trading company, the director of Aeon Orange and the 7 rice businessmen.
Aeon Orange supermarket is a joint business industry with Japan Aeon company and its local partner, Creation Myanmar Group of Companies Ltd.
