Local Revolutionary Forces reportedly raided and seized Taze City Police Station based by the junta troops in Sagaing Region.
“The revolutionary forces attacked Taze City Police Station before 12:00 p.m. last night and could seize the city police station this morning today,” according to some MPA sources.
When MPA contacted a PDF of the Taze People’s Defense Force about the raid situation inside Taze town, he said that he could not tell details yet.
“We can’t tell details as the Shwebo District Military Region (1) commands it. Local people are safe. Ye-U junta troops are currently reinforcing by land, and the junta is also reinforcing ammunition by helicopter. Three PDFs were killed in today’s battle,” he said.
On November 22, the revolutionary forces attacked and burned four flanking military camps inside Taze town. Now, they’ve already raided and captured Taze City Police Station.
”I heard a loud voice this morning. PDFs say the junta launched a 500-pound bomb. We have fled since the battle. I heard that there were no casualties,” said a resident of Taze town.
MPA is still investigating the subsequent situation inside Taze town.
