It was investigated that the SAC guard outpost stationed in Taingen Village, Tedim Township, Chin State was attacked by the regional defense joint forces at 5:30 am yesterday July 11th and four members of the people’s defense forces were killed while the SAC suffered many casualties.
“We had attacked from 5:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. When the SAC side happens 80 percent of the 100 percent into bad condition, they usually called for reinforcements. There are about 50 to 60 soldiers in Taingen village. First, the infantry army was called for help. When the vehicles that came to help were hit by landmines on the road. If the reinforcement could not reach them, they called for air support,” a spokesman for the CDF CDM (Siyin) told MPA.
During the attack, the Kalay Town SAC troops provided heavy weapons support, and the Air Force also fired three times with jet fighters reportedly.
“When we got into the camp, we did not have enough ammunition, so we waited and fought for two hours in the camp to get them from the rear, and then we finally retreated. The air strike did not harm our side. Our side was hit by their snipers,” the spokesman continued.
