An official of the KNDF said that the Military troops massacred the monks and the people who were sheltering in the monastery of Nam Nane village in Pinlaung Township on March 11, 2023.
An official of the KNDF said that 28 death bodies that were killed by the SAC Military were carried out by the KNDF in the monastery of Nam Nane village in Pinlaung Township.
An official of the KNDF said that around 4:00 p.m. on 11 March, the military troops entered the village after attacking with fighter jets and heavy weapons in the vicinity of Nam Nane village in Pinlaung Township.
An official of the KNDF explained that “the 30 villagers and 3 monks who were taking refuge in a Buddhist monastery were forced to leave their hiding place and shot dead in front of the temple wall. We found them when they entered, but we couldn’t help because the dogs (soldiers) were too strong”.
He confirmed that at around 12:00 noon today, on March 12, the KNDF and allied forces entered Nam Nane village in Pinlaung Township and carried out 28 death bodies including 3 monks who were massacred by the SAC military to a safe place.
“The relevant police department and forensics will continue to investigate. Of the 30 missing people, only 28 death bodies were found, and five people are still missing. The motorcycles were also burned We cannot say the details yet. We will arrange for the relevant family to bury the death bodies in a safe place according to their religion. That’s it,” he said.
The KNDF’s Central News and Information Department announced that currently, KNDF, KA, South Shan PDF, Pekhon PDF, Moe Byae PDF and DMO PDF are counterattacking the columns of the SAC Military, and they will try to take action against the SAC Military that had massacred the people.
