Three PDF comrades who received medical treatment in Mae Sot were arrested by Thai Immigration and brought back to the BGF, and they are currently being detained by the SAC, according to those assisting in that case.
It is said that the three comrades went to the clinic on April 1st when they took the wrong road and got at a checkpoint on the way to Bangkok and were detained by Thailand Immigration.
“On April 1st, they went the wrong way and passed the gate. They were arrested by Thai Immigration and sent to the immigration office. The organizations from this side tried to manage and help with this, but they told them to come tomorrow. So, when they went there the next day, the office told them that they released them early in the morning. It was the morning of April 4th,” said a close person.
The PDF comrades arrested by Thailand Immigration and returned to the BGF are Ko Thiha (38), Htet Nay Wun (31), and Saw Phyo Lay (26). They were arrested by the SAC, and the MPA is investigating their whereabouts.
“At around 8:00 a.m., I heard the sound of three people being shot near the Ingyin Myaing BGF gate on the Myanmar side,” confirmed residents near the Ingyin Myaing BGF gate on the Myanmar side.

In Mae Sot, Thailand, the Thai Police and Immigration have been arresting migrant residents more in recent days, and some of those arrested have been sent back to the Myanmar side (BGF).
Due to the increase in such arrests, organizations working on the issues of Myanmar migrant residents have warned the migrant residents to be careful when coming and going at Mae Sot and to be aware of security.
