It is reported that People Defense Force (PDF) seized Laymaing village and Towertai Kone, which are the military bases of the State Administration Council (SAC) located at Thabeikkyin township, Mandalay region.
The no.1 Military Division released an announcement that Laymaing village and Towertai Kone were fought on 29 August by the command of the Chief of Staff of Pyin Oo Lwin district and were occupied on the morning of today (30 August).
During this clash, 13 firearms, 2 drone slayers, 43 60mm shells, 6 Inagas, 22 magazines and 2,796 bullets were captured.
The no.1 Military Division claimed that attack was operated by the cooperation of no.1 and 2 battalions – Pyin Oo Lwin district, as well as the no.509, 510 and 512 battalions, People Defense Team (Pa Ka Pha) – Thabeikkyin township, Pyin Oo Lwin district, Drone Force – Mandalay region, Drone Force of no.1 Command Office – Shwebo district, and W-89 – Kanbalu district.
