In Kyaukme, Shan State, approximately 100 bombs were dropped by the military in an aerial assault during a battle that occurred today (August 5).
At around 5 AM today, TNLA attacked the remaining military bases of No (1) Military Operations Command, Light Infantry Battalions (501) and (502) in Kyaukme. Following this, a Y-12 aircraft dropped 96 bombs around the base area and two bombs near the Padamya Stupa including four strikes by jet fighters, according to the TNLA report released this evening.
It was also reported that jets carried out three strikes on Kan Gyi Village in Nawnghkio Township today.
