အမျိုးသားဒီမိုကရေစီအဖွဲ့ချုပ်ပါတီ NLD ၏ ပြန်ကြားရေးဗဟိုအတွင်းရေးမှူး ဦးအောင်ရှင်(မုံရွာအောင်ရှင်) သည် ထောင်မှပြန်လည် လွတ်မြောက်ပြီးနောက် မကြာခင် နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၂၈ ရက် နံနက် ၆ နာရီခွဲခန့်က ရန်ကုန်မြို့နေအိမ်တွင် နှလုံးရောဂါဖြင့် ရုတ်တရက် ကွယ်လွန်သွားခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
အကြမ်းဖက်စစ်တပ်က ၈ လကြာ အကြောင်းမဲ့ ဖမ်းထားဆီးခဲ့သည့် အသက် ၇၅ နှစ်ရှိပြီဖြစ်သည့် ဦးအောင်ရှင်သည် ပန်းနာရင်ကျပ် ရောဂါအခံရှိသူဖြစ်ပြီး ပန်းနာရင်ကြပ်ရောဂါ အတွက် ရှုဆေးဗူးကို အမြဲတမ်း ဆောင်ထားရန် လိုအပ်သူဖြစ်သည်။
အကြမ်းစစ်တပ်က အာဏာသိမ်းသည့် ဖေဖော်ဝါရီ ၁ ရက်ကတည်းက ဦးအောင်ရှင်ကို အကြောင်းမဲ့ ထိန်းသိမ်းခဲ့ပြီး အောက်တိုဘာ ၁၈ရက်တွင်မှ ပြန်လည်လွတ်မြောက်လာခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။
“လွတ်လာပြီးတော့ တွေ့တော့။ အဘက အတော်ပိန်သွားတယ်။ ဒီကောင်တွေရဲ့ ဖမ်းဆီးခံရတယ်ဆိုကတဲ့ ကျန်းမာရေးအရပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ်၊ စိတ်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ အရပဲ ဖြစ်ဖြစ်တော့ ထိုးနှက်ခံရတာတွေက အနည်းနဲ့ အများရှိခဲ့မှာပဲ”ဟု ဦးအောင်ရှင်နှင့် နီးစပ်သူတစ်ဦးက ပြောသည်။
မင်္ဂလာဒုံမြို့နယ်ရှိ စစ်ကြောရေးစခန်းတွင် တစ်ဦးတည်းသီးသန့်ထားရှိကာ ခေါ်ယူထိန်းသိမ်းထားခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်ပြီး မည်သည့် ပုဒ်မနှင့် မှ တရားစွဲဆိုခြင်းမရှိဘဲ ထိန်းသိမ်းခဲ့ခြင်းလည်းဖြစ်သည်။

Monywa Aung Shin Dies within Months after Release from Arrest

Soon after being released from prison, the secretary of the central information of the National League for Democracy (NLD), U Aung Shin (Monywa Aung Shin) suddenly died of heart attack on the morning of November 28 at 6 am, at his home in Yangon.
The 75 year-old U Aung Shin, who was groundlessly arrested by the terrorist military for 8 months, had a preexisting condition of asthma and always had to keep an inhaler for the disease.
The terrorist military groundlessly detained U Aung Shin since the day of the coup, February 1, and he was only released on October 18.
“I saw him after his release. He got so thin. Once arrested by these guys, there must have been beatings more or less health-wise, either physically or mentally”, said one close to U Aung Shin.
At Mingaladon interrogation camp, he was detained at a solitary cell without being sued on any section.
