ဒဂုံတက္ကသိုလ်ကျောင်းသားသမဂ္ဂ၏ အတွင်းရေးမှူးဟောင်းတစ်ဦးဖြစ်သူ ကိုစည်သူအောင်တင်ကို မြောက်ဥက္ကလာပ စစ်တရားရုံးက ထောင်ဒဏ် ၁၀ နှစ် ချမှတ်လိုက်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
ကိုစည်သူအောင်တင်ကို လိုက်ပါဆောင်ရွက်ပေးသည့် ရှေ့နေပင် သိခွင့်မရဘဲ ရာဇသတ်ကြီး ဥပဒေပုဒ်မ၁၂၄-(က) နှင့် ပုဒ်မ ၅၀၅(က)တို့ဖြင့် နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၃ ရက်နေ့တွင် ထောင်ဒဏ်ချမှတ်ခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ၎င်းနှင့်နီးစပ်သူများကဆိုသည်။
“ကိုစည်သူအောင်တင်ကို ထောင်ဒဏ်၁၀နှစ် ချမှတ်လိုက်တာ မှန်ပါတယ်။ စစ်တရားရုံးက ချတာဆိုတော့ သူ့ရှေ့နေတောင် မသိရဘဲ ချလိုက်တာပါ” ဟု ဒဂုံတက္ကသိုလ်ကျောင်းသား သမဂ္ဂမှတာဝန်ရှိသူတစ်ဦးက အတည်ပြုပြောကြားသည်။
ကိုစည်သူအောင်တင်သည် တတိယနှစ်ဥပဒေကျောင်းသားတစ်ဦးဖြစ်ပြီး ပြီးခဲ့သည့် စက်တင်ဘာလ၁၄ရက် ညပိုင်းတွင် အခြားကျောင်းသား၅ဦးနှင့်အတူ ကျောက်တံတားမြို့နယ်ရှိ နေအိမ်တစ်ခုတွင် အကြမ်းဖက် စစ်တပ်က ဖမ်းဆီးခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။
ပြီးခဲ့သည့် စက်တင်ဘာလ၆ရက်နေ့ကလည်း အဆိုပါမြောက်ဥက္ကလာစစ်တရားရုံးက ဒဂုံတက္ကသိုလ် ကျောင်းသားများသမဂ္ဂ၏ ဥက္ကဌဟောင်းဖြစ်သူ ကိုမင်းသုခကို ထောင်ဒဏ်၁၀နှစ်ချမှတ်ခဲ့သေးသည်။
ပြစ်မှုဆိုင်ရာဥပဒေ ပုဒ်မ၁၂၄(က) တွင် မည်သူမဆို နှုတ်ဖြင့်ဖြစ်စေ၊စာဖြင့်ဖြစ်စေ၊ အမှတ်အသား ဖြင့်ဖြစ်စေ၊ ထင်ရှားသော ပုံသဏ္ဍာန်ဖြင့်ဖြစ်စေ၊ အခြားသော နည်းဖြင့်ဖြစ်စေ ပြည်ထောင်စု အတွက်၊ သို့တည်းမဟုတ် ပြည်ထောင်စုအဖွဲ့ဝင်များအတွက် ဥပဒေအရ တည်ထောင်ထားသော အစိုးရကို မုန်းထားအောင်သော် လည်းကောင်း၊ မလေးစားအောင် သော်လည်းကောင်း ပြုလျင်၊ သို့တည်းမဟုတ် ထိုသို့ပြုရန် အားထုတ်လျင် သို့တည်းမဟုတ် မေတ္တာပျက်အောင် လှုံဆော်လျင်၊ သို့တည်းမဟုတ် ထိုသို့လှုံ့ဆော်ရန် အားထုတ်လျင်၊ ထိုသူကို ငွေဒဏ်နှင့်တကွ တစ်သက်ကျွန်းဒဏ်ဖြစ်စေ၊ ငွေဒဏ်နှင့် တစ်သက်ကျွန်းအောက် လျော့သည့် တစ်ကျွန်းဒဏ်ဖြစ် စေ၊ငွေဒဏ်နှင့်တကွ သုံးနှစ်အထိ ထောင်ဒဏ်ဖြစ်စေ၊ ငွေဒဏ်သက်သက်ဖြစ်စေ ထိုသူကို
ချမှတ်ရမည်ဟု ပြဌာန်းထားသည်။
အကြမ်းဖက်စစ်တပ်သည် နိုင်ငံတော်အာဏာ သိမ်းယူပြီးသည့် အချိန်မှစ၍ ကျောင်းသားများ၊ လူငယ်များကို မတရားဖမ်းဆီးနှိပ်စက်ပြီး ပုဒ်မအမျိုးမျိုးဖြင့် နှစ်ရှည်ထောင်ဒဏ်များ ချမှတ်ခြင်း၊ နှိပ်စက်သတ်ဖြတ်ခြင်းများကို ဆက်တိုက်ပြုလုပ်နေသည်။

Dagon University Student Union Leader Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison by Military Court

Ko Si Thu Aung Tin, a former secretary of Dagon University Student Union, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison by North Okkalapa military court.
The sentence was carried out on November 3 on the Penal Code section 124(a) and section 505(a) without even the knowledge of the attorney who worked for the case of Ko Si Thu Aung Tin, said those close to him.
“It’s true that Ko Si Thu Aung Tin has been sentenced to ten years in prison. As it was done by the military court, his attorney wasn’t even informed”, an official from Dagon University Student Union confirmed.
Ko Si Thu Aung Tin is a third-year Law student and was arrested at his home in Kyauktada township on September 14 by the terrorist military along with other five students.
Last September 6, the same North Okkalapa military court also sentenced an ex-chairman of Dagon University Student Union, Ko Min Thu Kha, to 10 years in prison.
In section 124(a) of the Penal Code, it’s prescribed that anyone who works for the members of the Union to hate or lose respect on the government which is established by law – either by mouth, letter, sign, evident symbol or other ways – or if any effort to that effect is made, or incites to lose love, or any effort to that effect is made, he/she must be given either both fine and life sentence, or fine and punishment less than life sentence, or fine and up to 3 years in prison, or fine alone.
Since taking the state power, the terrorist military is unjustly arresting, torturing students, youths to long sentences on all sorts of sections and they are continuously carrying out torturing and killing them.
